These guys went above and beyond to look after my old Honda and get it ready for a drive across the country. Didn't try to pressure me into doing un-necessary repairs, and were very open and honest about the state of my car. Their diagnosis on issues was very thorough, and they fixed many small issues that were able to be completed at short notice. Staff were very personable and friendly. I felt valued and treated with kindness.Cheers Margaret River Motors. You guys were awesome, and yes I did make it all the way to Queensland!

Cannot recommend MRM highly enough. Fantastic service, prompt and friendly. Had to get our car repaired after a breakdown while on a trip down south. Lisa and Heather were friendly and professional arranging repairs to the vehicle, which was carried out promptly, given the circumstances, and at a very reasonable price, they even had our car ready earlier than originally estimated. Kudos to the team at Margaret River Motors for saving our trip from disaster. Wish we lived closer so I could have our regular vehicle service done by this fantastic team.

The crew were super booked up. But fitted me in between jobs and got me back on the road. Would’ve been a drama (no way to get to work etc) if they didn’t go the extra distance to diagnose the problem and resolve it super quick and good price.Cheers guys and girls!

Very easy process, ladies in office were efficient and friendly. I liked having my invoice emailed so I can’t misplace it. I didn’t feel ripped off, or that extra charges were added unnecessarily. Thanks very much!

Fantastic friendly professional staff. Staff gave me a quote I accepted for the job, when it was time to pay they took $150 off the final price telling me the parts where cheaper than they thought. They could have charged me and I would have paid but they didn't. Honestly and good business is hard to come by these days thanks so much much appreciated couldn't recommend enough.

I have had a really, really disappointing experience with Margaret River Motors and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to them.Got my car towed in to them with quite a serious issue. I had a very scary experience with my car. While I was on the highway my breaks failed and the car started driving faster and faster by itself, I wasn’t able to stop it.I obviously told this to them when I came in with the car, hoping they would understand that this is quite a dangerous issue.They only diagnosed what the issue with the car was after 2 weeks and after my friend had given them some advice by email.They weren’t able to fix it, so their advice was to get the part that was broken send to Perth to get it fixed by a specialist and then get it send back. This would cost me $2500 in total.I told them they could just take the part out and I could get it fixed by someone else if that was alright with them. All good. When we came to pick up the part it turned out that when they had taken it out they could eventually fix it so they had already put it back in for me. The car was ready to go, $400 I had to pay. I was very happy with this result obviously.. until 4 days later the same incident happened to me again while I was driving on the high way.This time I got my car to a different mechanic and it turned out to be the same part that was (still) broken. Not fixed, not even cleaned. Just taken out and without doing anything with it been put back in. When I called them to ask what exactly happened they told me that it was “probably something else this time” and that they “wouldn’t have time to book me back in the next coming months(!!)”.You guys let me pay $400 for nothing and let me hit the road again with a very, dangerous and risky car (not only for me but also for other traffic) letting me believe that it was fixed.I feel like I have been treated like a “just a backpacker” once again and I feel very much being ripped off. Thanks Margaret River Motors, no good advertisement for you guys.

I drive a modified car, and my brakes failed 4 hours from home. I came to this shop as i believed that was the best chance i got. It wasn't. I was not given a quote for a week, and the parts ordered were out of my control and knowledge. Keep in mind i have aftermarket wheels and i assumed, they were gonna order a mismatched wheel, explicitly after i told them i had a spare in the boot. Im sure of course this was to squeeze the most money out of my situation.I decided the wise choice would be to hire a trailer, drive 4 hours to pick up the car myself to bring it back to perth and fix it myself. Apart from that the service was far less than expected. Once i grabbed the key i was instantly pushed to the side, moved the car out of their car park without brakes myself. It was quite petty to watch the owners finish up for the day and drive past me while i was still strapping my car down to the trailer with no prior experience.Overall just go somewhere else or fix it yourself.

It was a real customer service experience with Heather! I needed a few things in my car looked at and she was able to schedule me in when needed. Upon arrival in the morning, it was really easy to talk to her and it wasn't like talking to a computer at the front desk. I left my car at the MR Motors and got a call back a few hours later, ready for pick up.Thank you so much for the help!
